Ive been trying to send about 1 gigabyte of photos, HOWEVER i have to send each one separately, which gets cumbersome. Anyone know where i can send one large folder of pictures at once?

Easiest way is to set up a FTP connection between the two computers. You will need FTP software on both ends to do this.
You may need to set up an FTP Site to host the files, if you can't connect to the other computer thru the router.
And then there is the very easy way: Put the files on 1 or 2 cds or on 1 dvd as image files. Or get creative and make them into
a slide show or a dvd with a menu to navigate thru them. Then send it by US Mail ... 2 - 3 days at most.

You could RAR/ZIP them and then FTP it. If you don't wanna bother with setting that up, I use Adrive.com which has 50GB of free storage and the upload/download is faster than my internet can handle.

And you could also bundle them into packets. Most ISPs will send and accept 500MB or smaller loads.

For 1 GB, two bundles of 500MB should work fine.

JUST a NOTE.. If what you're sending is pirated or illegal material.. or something religious affiliated.. or could get you in trouble.. ALL above methods besides FTP is NOT secure.

There is nothing really secure about any email, encryption excepted. The most secure, and actually, perhaps the best is BruceB's second . . .
