Is there a way to add another machines Desktop to my right click menu?
For example: I want to share a photo to my wife, I would right click on the photo and select "Send To" and the choose her Desktop.
All machine are XP Pro. TIA

You could share your "my documents" folder. I do not know of a way to add to that menu selection, and I'm curious to see if anyone has an answer. I have some mapped drives I'd like to do that with.

WinXP

First click on Folder view and make all hidden Folders visible.

Look into C:\Documents and Settings\

Each User has a SendTo folder.

Any destination (including network mapped informatiom) that is put in this folder as a shortcut will appear in the right click SendTo menu.

If you put a short cut to the other person computer's Desktop folder and you use the SendTo a ?Magic? icon will appear the first time the Desktop is refreshed. They can double click on the icon and see the info sent to them.

Thank you.
I was able to add her to the right click menu but I get an error:
"Cannot copy **** access is denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected...."
It is probably just a sharing issue and I will work on it tomorrow. Tonight is my Friday and I earned it this week. It's beer 30. 😉
