I'm originally from MI and conservative. I saw Ted in concert as a young man. Despite his conservative views, I'm not sure I'd vote for him.

I can't get that wango tango out of my head.

Back in the '80's, I dated a girl whose first husband was a Philly DJ and who was with friends with Ted Nugent's sister, a wholly unprepossessing woman who worked at a clerical position at the HUP (Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania). I got to meet her a couple of times.

Apparently, Ted never shared any of his wealth with his siblings or family. Also, apparently, Ted was well known in the music industry as an abrasive, narcissistic asshole. Anyway, take this third hand gossip for what it's worth (not much).

Lastly, though, totally on my own, I'm just not buying that Nugent never did drugs. Did you ever hear Journey to the Center of the Mind from the '60's? NO drugs ever? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

It is a pretty well established 'fact' that Ted is not into drugs. I would geuss he forced open the doors, maybe unwittingly, at some point during the 60s, but the point is: his craziness is not drug inspired.
