While I agree with Israel and think it's simply time for them to level anything Palestinian I also don't think I should get up ever morning and go to work so I can pay for it.....let the rich Jews of this country spend their own money if it means so much to them....but then again they are liberal so that means they prefer to steal and use other people's money to fulfill their wishes.

So a country that likes to illegally invade territory and kill the people living there wants to strengthen ties with a country that likes to illegally invade territory and kill the people living there. And both did it using the lie of "defense". Sounds like they were pretty tight ideologically already.

If the US is not going to stand by Israel when it is being attacked, then maybe they need to re-evaluate some of the relationship.

The Soviets backed a loser originally against Israel. Maybe they also have realized that when the world turns against you; you need to re-thing your options/allies

So Russia will get Iron Dome, and later the laser defense. Israel is a high tech State with advanced military weaponry, anyone wanting to counter the US would be wise to trade with them.

Israel "news" is from 2012. That said there is a strange alignment of Russian and Israeli interests now after Ukraine. The West is rushing to lift sanctions on Iran, because they need an oil and gas supplier to replace Russia. Russia and Israel both have an interest in this not happening.

And we would be wise to stop funding their development. Iron Dome was developed by Israel with US Tax payers money.

The US has no strategic interest served by our relationship Israel. It is long past time to reevaluate this parasitic relationship.

Considering how much influence the Jewish population has on our economy, blocking aid to Israel might have some interesting effects here in the US.

Except for the fact that in the current situation, Israel attacked first. This isn't defense, Israel attacks, Hamas fires some rockets in retaliation killing no one, Israel targets civilians in response killing over 1000.

A benefit being that, I expect, we have direct access to that same technology. If we stop funding it, our enemies would pay for that access.

It could have passed but was lumped into the border bill. Why is that even in there in the first place? That's a dumb question, we all know why, but it's just more same ol same ol from our dysfunctional government. And I'm ok with not giving Israel more support anyways.

Sure we will have access to this technology. But if this technology ends up going to Russia like you said. The wise move is to stop all future endeavors with Israel.

Israel has a very strong lobby, their gravy train isn't going anywhere.

It would've been ridiculous to give them emergency aid for this "war" they have all the resources they need to stomp on Hamas for as long as they would like.

Why not just money to Al-Qaeda? We have a Muslim president and he only supports Muslim Terrorists. It is so obvious. This is based on his actions.

figures..... i remember a college gov class a professor said it's virtually impossible for us to ever not support israel, said it was a sacred cow issue...


when it comes down to it, our economies are so intertwined.... yeah, not any time soon at least, will our position with Israel change.
