Ted Cruz (Crazy-Texas) is going to vote for Trump, which is really no surprise but what the hey. Either way, Ted must have looked at his wife one morning and thought 'Trump was right, she's ugly'. Or maybe Ted's dad really did have something to do with JFK's assassination. Maybe Ted decided that his sinking poll numbers means that it's time to quit standing up and get down on his knees to pay lip service to Trump's tiny sack.

I guess it proves that even the most principled conservatives really have no principles...

Not really much a long term thinker or astute observer either given it's pretty obvious what's been happening to ass kissers who've hitched their wagon to trump.

You all know what this is all about.....
Ted wants a place in line for US Supreme Court justice consideration.
And that is about where it ends.
So, if you like the idea of a Ted Cruz US Supreme Court justice deciding social and moral issues for you and your future, your family, your lifestyle choices, hell then go ahead and vote Donald Trump.
And YOU WILL be sorry....

Anyone who still supports Ted Cruz at this point is a complete and utter moron that deserves no sympathy.

Never understood how someone like him managed to get 2nd place in the Republican primaries.

I'm torn. I mean nobody likes to see Donald Trump happy in any way, but I do enjoy watching Ted Cruz eat shit. At least he exposed himself as the gutless opportunist we always knew he was.

Honestly he really didn't have a choice if the rumors of arm twisting by the GOP are true. Being cut out of debates during the next primary cycle would have doomed him. I have no doubt he will run for President again as soon as 2020 if Trump loses this election.

I don't know, if he were performing strongly next election cycle they wouldn't be able to keep him out of the debates.

You obviously don't understand the modern Repub party. Take a look at who came in first.

The rest? It works like this-

“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”

Ted Cruz and Donald Trump........Donald Trump and Ted Cruz........Donald Cruz and Ted Trump.........Donald Ted and Trump Cruz.

You know, no matter how I try to look at that pairing, they still come out looking like a fresh, steaming, gag-inducing slinky coiled up turd sitting on a big fat hairy retch inducing half-dried out turd in the middle of a field of lesser smelly yet powerfully offensive doody-doo's.

IMO not much harder than understanding how someone like Trump managed to get 1st place in the Republican primaries.

Excellent. I had been willing to give Cruz one point of credit for having more of a spine than his other Republican candidates for the nomination by not endorsing Trump after Trump insulted his wife and his father, but thankfully I don't have to do that now.

He's back to having absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Frankly, I think it's possible he would have been even a worse president than Trump. Trump is just an unintelligent blowhard con-man (granted, he could still do a lot of damage). Cruz on the other hand is intelligent, but incredibly delusional and misguided. I'm pretty sure he thinks he was chosen by God to become president. People like that are fucking dangerous.

In all fairness to Trump, he's not unintelligent, he just scams the unintelligent.

Unintelligent was probably the wrong word. Uninformed (on issues a president should know about) would be more accurate.

Just a reminder of who Ted says he is voting for:

I'm going to do something I haven't done for the entire campaign, for those of y'all who have traveled with me all across the country. I'm going to tell you what I really think of Donald Trump. This man is a pathological liar. He doesn't know the difference between truth and lies. He lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth. And, in a pattern that I think is straight out of a psychology textbook, his response is to accuse everybody else of lying.

He accuses everybody on that debate stage of lying, and it's simply a mindless yell. Whatever he does, he accuses everyone else of doing.

The man cannot tell the truth, but he combines it with being a narcissist. A narcissist at a level - I don't think this country's ever seen. Donald Trump is such a narcissist that Barack Obama looks at him and goes, "Dude, what's your problem?" Everything in Donald's world is about Donald.

...

Donald will betray his supporters on every issue. If you care about immigration, Donald is laughing at you. And he's telling the moneyed elites that he doesn't believe what he's saying, he's not gonna build a wall - that's what he told the New York Times, he will betray you on every issue across the board.

Since Ted said the above, I take it that nothing has changed and Ted now thinks that these flaws of Donald's are actually good things! Pitiful...

Ted is a true class act, a man that can put the past behind him, someone that can do right when it comes down to the wire.

Bernie doing us all proud, moves to give all his delegate votes to Clinton. If you ever doubted the chasm in class between Bernie Sanders and, say, Ted Cruz, well, there it is.

Take us to the promised land, Bernie!

That tiny, tiny smaller than Trumps hands sliver of respect Ted has earned by publically saying he won't support a man who implied his (Ted) Father had something to do with the Kennedy assassination.
Ted has caved and lost.
