Sempron vs Intel

I'm in the market for a low-budget laptop. What is the preferred chip for performance to price ratio? I'm looking at the Sempron 2800 or 3000 and others with the mobile Celeron 360? Which might be better on battery life?

mobile celeron will give you better battery life, smepron will probably give oyu better performance.

I would go with the Celeron M 360. I think it has much better battery life, if that's important to you.

Thanks for the info. Staples has the Compaq M2105US with the Sempron 2800, and 15" Brightview for $549. I think I might go with that......
