sempron processor in a7n8x-x

You could upgrade to a sempron with that board as long as you don't get the 3100, it's a socket 754. I wouldn't upgrade though, your cpu and the sempron both have 256k cache, are 32-bit, and run at about the same speeds, actually the sempron runs a little slower. It would be a waste. If you're gonna upgrade from an athlon xp, go with an athlon 64.
