Sempron+6600 or A64+GF4-6150 mobo?

Well, I have the opportunity to sell my existing parts for what I paid for it (possibly more!) so I have a choice. Bear in mind I'm NOT a big 3D gamer! I seem to play few-to-no 3D games at all.....

I have:
754 Sempron 2800+ (will not overclock, possibly due to mobo or RAM limitation - 3x512MB forces it to run at DDR333.)
nForce4 4X board: Gigabyte K8NE
3xOCZ Value 512MB DDR400
GeForce 6600 OC Gigabyte GV-NX66256DP with silentpipe

I could sell all the above (with the exception of RAM) and replace it with:
939 Athlon64 3000+ (3200+ if on sale!)
nForce4 6100 or 6150 motherboard with onboard 6200 graphics
... and have cash left over so I could buy one more 512MB stick, or just keep the cash in my pocket..... pity the X2 3800+ is too much more money.... 😛 But at least I'd be on 939 so I have that option!

So.... sensible? Other ideas? 🙂

sensibly you'd probably be better off waiting a couple months for more AMD AM2 socket information.. im sure 939 costs will be bumped down once it's released. and from what i hear, 4 dimms can be an OC killer if you are into that sort of thing

+ if you dont play 3d games, integrated video will do just fine.. look for the nvidia 6100 boards or those ATI integrated mobos

Sensible advice, but this resale opportunity won't wait that long - I've got a client looking for parts NOW and my stuff is only 2 months old. 🙂

...but I did find a smashing deal on the 939 3000+ ($149 CDN) and the mobo is only $99 CDN with good video.
