Note this is a nForce4-A PCIe board, not nF3/AGP as in the other thread. This is at Fry's B&M for $79.99 through 4/20 (at least SoCal stores).

The ad doesn't state if this is s939 or 754, but the photo in the ad looks like an ECS socket 754 board (see link in littletemple's post below). The ad also shows a picture of a boxed processor.

Thanks for catching that. I looked too quickly. The ad states this is a nF4-A PCIe board. I'll edit the heading.

Fry's ad pics are unreliable! And they won't capitulate if you try arguing the point.

For example, in last weeks ad there was an EVGA GeForce FX5200 AGP board for $9.99 amir of $40. Not only did they only have 14 or less reportedly in stock, but the item in the pic was a low-profile PCI version of the card. (And they don't even know what the advertised card's model number was supposed to be!)

But if it is in the text part of the ad you will prevail.

Well, somehow I ended up in Fry's after work and grabbed one of these combos. I really didn't need it, but for the price, what the hell.... I guess it'll replace my daughters old celeron.

Yeah I'm picking this up if its still available and the $60AR 1gb corsair and pairing it up with a 7600GS thats 109AR from mwave and overclocking the crap out of it. I'm done with AGP. Hope this board OCs okay.

I was able to hit 289MHz with a Sempron 2800 Winchester core at 133/2.5-3-3-8-1T. It is possible to adjust the FSB in BIOS up to 400MHz. Make sure that you update the BIOS. I had to update in Windows cause the floppy method does not work.

I pickup this deal this afternoon. It was an OEM cpu, so I had to buy a hsf for it. I also picked up a half gig of memory for it also. I know zero about this setup, but the price was right, so I will use it in a video box I am working on.

Weird. The ad definitely has a picture of a boxed CPU, though it isn't specified in text. I would've hassled 'em about it. I did get a boxed Sempron 2800 with the nF3 board combo from the week before.

Am going to follow up on how this combo tests out for those who bought in. Should repeat again. Wondering what core cpu's they are combining and if Fry's is depleting stock of older cores before selling newer stuff
