sempron 2500+ overclockable?

That's a Thoroughbred core. It should hit at least 2.0 Ghz, but I would expect closer to 2.2. Why doesn't he just overclock it, and tell us (you) how it does?
 
he's a noobie and asking me for help, but I don't have much help to offer him without a little bit of research.
and he's lazy about overclocking, I guess not everybody finds it fun. 😛
 
Just tell him to buy a decent heatsink, lock his PCI bus @ 33 Mhz, his AGP bus @ 67 Mhz, and give his processor 10% more vcore than stock (plus, whatever it takes to overcome the vdroop), and see how high he can get his fsb. It's not hard, it just takes a few days, for stability testing.
