Semi-successful unlock?

I've got an XP1600 that I unlocked. At first boot it shows as XP 1700 (133x11) and when I try to make it run at specs (XP 1600, 133x10.5) it shows up as an Athlon XP 866 MHz or something like that, but I can raise the multiplier to make it an XP 1800, for example. Did I mess up?
