I just built a new cruncher to go online for our TeAm SoB project, but the memory is not compatable with my motherboard... or at least error's out with it.
When I stuck the memory in a different computer, it passes the full process of memtest86 with flying colors. THe memory is Nanya PC3200 chips (2*512mb, CL3)
ANybody have any idea's on how to correct the problem? I overvolted them and that help about 5 fold, but it still errors out in memtest. I have the latest BIOS and all, but I am stumped. I got them from a local trade from someone who upgraded his memory, when I ran memtest in his comuter, they worked peachy.... so I could not justify a 'refund'. Any idea's what to do?
