Picture in ad looks like an e200 series, but I'm not aware of any e200 series Sansa player that's 1GB so it may be the c240

Ad says compare to $69.99 at other retailers so..... 😕

Assuming it is the Sansa c240 that Big Lots is selling for $39.99 OTD..... Staples will be seling this same player starting on April 1st for $69.99 - $10 instant savings - $10 easy rebate = $49.99

Go to Staples and have them PM Big Lots, so...

$69.99 - $10 instant savings - $22 (110% PM guarantee) - $10 easy rebate = $27.99

If you have some Staples ink coupons to throw in, then $27.99 - $9 (3 x $3 ink coupons) = $18.99

Damn, wish I saw this earlier, as I was just thinking about buying the c250 (don't really need the extra gig though). I'm guessing Big Lots is out, but I'll check after work, or maybe look into price-matching if I'm feeling really ambitious.

I printed out their ad online for my local Big Lots. Brought the print-out to CC and they priced matched also taking and additional 10% off of the difference. Paid $38.99 for my c240 after ~7.75% tax.

Um... I was going to try price-matching, but I just noticed the one in the Big Lots ad has circular controls whereas the c240 has the square controls. Can anyone who got the player from Big Lots verify that it's the c240?

EDIT: The Big Lots one looks like this: Text except with silver controls.

That's because Big Lots has the c140, not the c240. Not as desirable, because it does not have the microSD expansion. It's interesting that CC would price match a different model for IsLNdbOi, they are usually pretty anal about making sure it's the same model.

Edit: CC seems to have this model, so I guess it is pricematchable. I would still rather get the c240 for this price, though...

Yep, that's what I linked. Also, the c140 does not have a rechargeable battery.

CC wouldn't price match me they noticed the round buttons. So they actually got me a better deal as I went to Staples and they had the c240 and I asked the girl at the register if they price match and she said yes so I pulled out the printout from Big Lots and she rings it up at $39.99 then comes the $10.00 mail in rebate which would makes it $29.99 AMIR!!
