I bought a computer awhile back,it came with Windows 98SE, 2 months later Windows 2000 came out and i jumped on it, so i've had a 98SE CD and serial sticker on my computer ever since, not being used. I just noitced recently they sell on e-bay for $75!

Whats the legal nature of something like this, so long as i'm not using the serial is it ok for me to peel the sticker off my computer and sell it with the CD?

According to M$, OEM products cannot be transferred.
Take that as you will

I *think* you can sell OEM software as long as it's sold along with a piece of hardware.

You could always sell the cd and happen to include the serial number :D

If you can peel off those COA stickers off a pc in one piece then you are a better man than I. And no MS OEM licensing is tied to the hardware.
