I buy a lot of things on ebay and I have a few video games I'd like to sell. Is it really as easy as putting up an ad and once you have a buyer, go to the post office or shipping store and send it out the the address??

How much would shipping a video game in a DVD jewel case cost? Should be less than 5 bucks in the 48 states??

If it will fit into a USPS flat rate priority mail envelope (which DVD cases will) then it will cost something like $4.60

Kinda but the fees will kill you and make it not worth it, let alone if you get a chargeback.

Try craigslist first.

Always priority mail with free confirmation. You can use the Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box or Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope. They're both under $5 for a video game. The box will let you fit a single DVD case, while the fenvelope will let you fit multiple, but doesn't have the amount of "protection" you get with the box. I would use USPS.com to buy and print out the label, tape it to the box/envelope, and just drop it off at the post office counter. You can drop it in the street mailbox if it's under 13 oz.

if buyer claims not to receive goods, or uses a stolen credit card, you can expect to lose the money
more common than you might think. altho, with cheap stuff, unlikely

Sell it on craigslist and then meet the buyer somewhere public like a burger king. Take Cash Only.

Shit your fucking time must be worth nothing.

Load up some auctions...sell, pay ebay/pay paypal, ship it cheapest way...easy and profitable.

Ship with some sort of tracking, as others have said. You WILL regret it some day if you don't do it every single time. eBay is full of assholes and scammers.
