Selling stuff on the net

I'm completely new to the world of selling on the internet and want to know a few things.

1) What's the easiest and safest way to transfer money?

2) Is there a safe way to transfer goods in exchange for money where there's no chance of being scammed?

3) In the FS/T forum, do I have to sell my stuff as long as I post it, or can I back off on the deal without being condemned?

1.) Most people use paypal. As soon as I get money in my account I immediately transfer it to my bank or into another account. That way the people cant file a complaint and paypal will take the money out of your account. Paypal can also lock your funds at anytime. Just dont scam and you will be fine.

2.) COD is what I prefer to use. It might be a white elephant but you know your getting something. If your selling, then they dont get the package without paying the money. I believe it is worth the $5 or $6

3.) No, unless they pay you money, as soon as money transfers, you really need to send the item, however, you can send the money back. Might give you a bad rep if you do it repeatidly
