Just wondering what would be the best way to sell your old PCs. How do you figure how much your old PC is worth, or how much the parts in it are worth.

Go to eBay and do a search on the model or parts you are looking to sell. I did a search on an old Dell I have and found they didn't fetch very much. Good luck.

You can also try our FS/FT forum here on Anandtech. Be sure to read the rules before you post there though.

Before I sell anything I see what others are selling it for. You can search on ebay or search in the Trade forum on these forums or other forums

Just don't post a "What would you pay for _____?" thread - since you'll be flamed out of existance as they aren't permitted. ;)

definitely use eBay to find out what stuff is worth... that way you can actually find out what stuff sells for, not just what people are asking.

I always get pretty close to what it should be worth by selling on eBay.
