I have two computers. One is a Sony Vaio P4 2.4GHz with 1 GB ram and a x1600 AIW and 1 120 and 1 160GB HDD. The other is a custom built P3 not sure of the ghz. 256 MB ram and maybe 20 GB HDD. What should I do?

Not worth selling?

I rather get rid of them than do something practical because they are both power hogs and I have enough computers here with external drives.

Donate to where?

If you want to sell them go ahead and post them on your local craigslist. If people don't bite after a few weeks/price drops they're not worth anything and you can just put them up for free/donate.

Throw the P3 away but you should be able to sell the Vaio on Craigslist for at least 50 bucks.

If you can't sell them, give them away on Craigslist. You'd be surprised the uses people have for older hardware like this, it'd be a waste to throw them away. That Vaio especially would make a nice little system for someone who just uses the computer for web and other basic stuff.
