because some people will buy just about anything even if you don't think its going to sell!
like some will even pay more for what you can get new this is what makes me laugh the most.

Then, you've still gotta buy it retail, but you wasted a day or two waiting to see if you'd win the auction.

I guess if they're clear about it you can't protect people from their own stupidity, but when they start listing the specs and stuff hoping people will skim past the part where it says "box," it's pretty obvious they're trying to rip someone off.

I'd seen a lot of people who were called 'scammers' when they sold a burned CD detailing how to purchase laptops cheap for $5. The buyers kept giving the guy negative feedback, but it was pretty clear in the ad it was CD about laptops. It had a picture of a laptop however. But if they honestly thought they were going to get a laptop shipped to them for $6, and never once looked at the auction before even paying...I mean come on. If people are so stupid they just see a picture and bid without reading anything else, they get what they deserve.

Last i heard the scammer emailed the guy a virus, what a loser.
