Selling on craigslist

I'm selling some extra stuff on craigslist, never really used it before, but I don't feel like dealing with eBay and PayPal fees... Anyhow, do you guys usually meet at the buyer's location, seller's location, or some place else? I just did a sale from my house, but I probably shouldn't be giving out my address to strangers on the internet :/.

I use an abandoned warehouse, down by the docks. Be sure to tell them to come alone and not to involve the Police.

I usually tell them to head down to the dock, look inside a barrel. Inside that barrel they will find a key. Dive down to the bottom of the river and retrieve the locked box. Bring the lockbox up to the deck and open it. Inside is directions and a code. Drive to the location and use the code to unlock the locker, inside will be a cell phone. Await further instructions.

Oh, the seller's location, always. Sometimes it takes some explaining for them to understand why I'm not there and why they need to break the lock because I forgot to leave the door unlocked, though. But hey, as long as I get my money and they get the goods, everything is peachy.

there are a lot of flakes on Craigslist.
I have them come and pick up the goodies.

Depends on the size of the item. Usually a parking lot at a supermarket or something like that works for anything. People are flaky though... the worst is you going out somewhere and they never show. I haven't done it but I know it will happen.

I tell them to come to my place.

I meet them at the apartments' main entrance, & we exchange cash for goods

Or sometimes other public places, like i've done at a college, at McD's, etc. if they can't meet at my place.

Granted, Craigslist is only one place i post on.

I actually primarily use other local sites & forums, as well as Kiiji.

Usually ill sell at a neutral place. But ive gone to peoples houses numerous of times to buy things.

Most females I buy from usually prefer to meet in a public place (usually supermarket) and bring a guy with them. If I'm going to a guy's place I usually bring backup just in case I have to go Jet Li on that ass.

as a precaution, i don't give out my exact address to anyone on CL anymore
fortunately i'm in a court. so i give the street and city, then i tell them to call me from the court when they have arrived

i've had no problems yet. i even ran into a guy i went to high school with, he bought my ski rack
