Selling HL2

How do I sell HL2 if it's tied to my steam account?

I -believe- you have to give up your steam account; the game in non-transferable between them, AFAIK. You can sell it and the new owner would change the pw (and email addy, I think).

technically it violates the EULA to sell it
-and I think that restriction is some bunk crap from valve in order to inflate their company profits beyond what is ethical (by selling more games because consumers are restricted in selling off their own copies once played)

yeah, it's completely absurd. It's almost like we didn't pay for the game, but for access to play the game.
