Selling forum signatures

Sorry I forgot a "the" in there. To rephrase and maybe make it easier to understand; can I rent out my signature space to other members for money.

Second question as a follow up, can I buy/sell signature space as long as I don't solicit in the FS/FT forum?
the problem with this is that anandtech sells ad space on the forums and we make it a point not to allow interstitials (ads that sit inline in a thread) because they are annoying.
if we let people sell ad space in their own post then presumably they would want to increase their post count so they could increase the visibility of their ad to get paid more money ...
this is not cool.
we do allow linking to your own personal sites in your sig and i don't see a fundamental problem with intra-community stuff like what mosh did ... ... but i'm still going to review the implications of that with Anand ... but really selling your sig to a company who would pay you to advertise for them is not going to be allowed.
