Say I have a bulk of new items (20-30 new Office 97's, 5-10 Windows 95's, 40-50 Windows NT 4.0 cd's + 50 or so others) (Older by technicality, but still in packaging). Is is a good selling strategy to:

A. Sell them all in bulk?
B. Sell them all individually?
C. Sell them all at the same time?
D. Sell them all at the same place/website?
E. Package another product with it?

Your thoughts?

i would say B and/or E

individually, you'll get a much better price, i wouldn't put them all on at the same time at the same site as you will most likely drive down the price (more supply & same demand = lower price)

If you stacked them all together would the stack be the size of a car part?
An alternator maybe?

Alright. That Works. Appreciated much.

When you say "No one wants old products anyway", when you have over 100 pieces of old "brand-new" software and you do your research, you find that each is worth anywhere from 4-11 dollars each. Throw that into how many you have (70-100+ cds), that's worth some money. Not to mention if your job pays for shipping and you ship them at no cost to yourself ;)

I'll sell them at different times. Thanks!

10 lbs is not bulk, if it is not more than 10 lbs it isn't worth your time

I think the question of whether 10 lbs. is bulk or not is far from settled, sir.

its worth that much if people want to buy it. i don't know too many people who want to buy a copy of windows 95 thats what, 3 generations of OS old. the office might be easier to sell since i don't really think much has changed between versions, although i think there may be a problem with running older office versions on newer windows OSes

Your job pays for shipping and you keep all the revenue? That's a pretty sweet deal.

Sell individually and at different times. The latter may not be that big a deal if the amount you have is small compared to the overall market.
