Selling an entire DVD collection on Ebay

I have around 60 DVD movies that I would like to get rid of, however, I have not seen any listings on Ebay with that quantity. Most people sell them one at a time. I don't have the time to list and ship each one individually, I would like to get rid of all of them at once. All of the movies are popular, DVD's are in mint condition. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to list them on Ebay or is there somewhere else to go? Thanks

You can try the FS/FT forum. I doubt you'll sell all 60 at once unless you sell it for VERY cheap. There's bound to be movies in there that some people want and some people don't.

Post a list in FS/FT forum - make a minimum # of DVDs that have to be bought or something like that. Personally I've never seen someone sell that many DVDs at once but it's worth a shot (if you have good movies, of course)

Well, roomate bailed out and hasn't payed rent, I would never buy that many DVD movies, I learned my lesson early when it became apparent that I only enjoy watching movies once or twice :D

Let us see the list!!!

Breaking it down to a minimum of buying 5 at a time would sell them quickly on here.

If you're gonna ebay them, it would probably work out better if you listed them in groups of 5 or so. Pick out 2 really good ones and bundle them with 3 okay or crappy ones and they should sell.

If you put 60 together, some people are going to think "Why pay for 60 of them when I have 20 of them, only REALLY want 10, and only wouldn't mind having the other 30."

Well, I figured that resellers or small, independant video store owners would be interested. Like if I sold them for $6-7 a pop and they could resell them for $12-14.99 on the shelf.

you might get some luck there, but most video stores look to make a bigger profit than you and you are lucky to get more than 5 bucks on anything that isn't a new (meaning, last two weeks) release.

I see 'lots' on ebay all the time. Some from video stores, some from regular sellers. Usually there's a bunch of crap movies in them so the prices seem good at first but if you read the titles (or look closely at the pictures) you'll change your mind.

Isn't crossposting against the terms of service? Thanks, didn't think I would sell them here, I would have originally posted in the FS/FT forum.

I sold my entire collection on Ebay after finishing college. It was around 90 DVD's. It was also my first Ebay sale.

A CPA in Boston purchased them all for about 2.5 times what I had paid for them. Of course, that was back in the good ole deal days of Reel.com and 3 for a $1 coupons at another Dotcom bust.

I'd go with Ebay for a quick and easy payment. You would certainly get more than 5.50 a DVD with that collection. Probably average $8 a pop.
