selling AMD case badges???

This guy is selling AMD case badges... I'm not sure if these are the ones you can get for free from AMD by calling customer support, but is this allowed?

When I called AMD, a nice lady, Alice, told me they only give these to people in AMD's reseller program and the badges are _NOT_ for individual sale (obviously, you can put one on a case that you sell). If TimidOCer got these through AMD's Reseller Program, then he is in violation of their policy and any agreements he made. If he did get them through the reseller program, he should only charge people the postage to give away a badge for free.

Not that I am the police or anything.

Anyway, Alice walked me through registration of their reseller program so that she could send me some. I was honest with her and told her I only build an occasional system (for friends, work, myself) and my business name would have to be a domain name that I have only registered and have not even started using yet. She was very nice about the whole thing and I have some K6-2 (and hopefully K6-3) and Athlon badges headed this way. I thought it would be a nice touch to put them on all of the systems I have built.

Well how about sending me a T-Bird badge then.... ill gladly pay the postage 🙂

Some people would rather buy them, than go thru all the hoops. I'd offer some, if I had them. 🙂
