I am trying to sell my Scooter and a guy is supposed to come over to check it out. How do these things usually work? Here are my main questions:
1) Do I let him give it a test drive? Do I take collatoral or anything in the mean time from him so he doesn't just drive off with it?
2) In Illinois you need a special license to drive scooters or cycles, what if he doesn't have one?
3) If I let him do a test drive and he jacks himself up what happens then?
4) Do I need to have a contract and/or Bill of sale? I intend to sign the title over after cash is received. I found this one online that I could use.
-I posted Cash only(scooter is $1250 OBO) and local pickup only so I'm assuming I shouldn't have any trouble with that.
