Well this sucks for me....I prurchased a bfg 5900 non ultra a month ago and its eeen defective ever since full of artifacts. When i contacted the seller bout htis, he was hesitent on refunding me ...but kept saying they would replace it... i think at one time he even stated he had lost the reciept as he had gotten it form his friend who is a rich guy...he seemed to be telling the truth....but now im wondering sitting ducks here that he didnt give me his full return address and I cant get back to him as he also hasnt replied to any emails in weeks.... Is there a way i could return this BFG card to the company somehow???

Or am i totally screwed?

Is there a way to get the sellers address from my credit card company because paypal is a bitch that wont disclose that info?

Did you buy this from the fs forum here? You might try posting something there instead. BFG might rma your card, I know some you simply have to apply for an rma number and they do not require a receipt or anything. I'd check their website or email them to find out how you go about an rma.

well..i bought it from ebay through paypal...

that seller told me he tried contacting bfg bout it but they needed a reciept...

when i asked him for a refund he agreed but never replied to any emails thereafter.

i need some help..i live in canada ,BC. If it is possible to return it without proof of purchase then i am willing to send it to someone on this board who can help get it replaced.

Yeah, the card is new enough that it should still be under warranty from BFG. I remember I had a motherboard fail a while back and the only difference between having and not having a receipt was if I didn't I'd have to eat the cost of shipping both ways. If I had the receipt I paid shipping there but they'd send it back for free.

I'd contact BFG directly. Just explain the situation. I'd also give the guy bad feedback if he stopped communication.

hmmm...sounds relieving...well now i need someone in the US to help me reutrn the card cause i remember talking to BFG a month ago bout this and they said they dont ship it to canada and asked me to call the seller(in US) and send it to him. They said they would accept it form him. But i dont know what all BS story that selelr gave me when i talked to him bout returning thi card...he said at first that they would need reciept...later on he said that they would replace it and it would take 2 weeks...

i dont know whats up...the problem is that i am only running this card at the moment and i have no other card to run my computer...the 2 week wait period would be killing and i would be without a functioning computer....

Pls advise...
