Seller on ebay turned out to be a scammer.

I brought a laptop on ebay and it turns out that the seller was a scammer. Should have been a bit more careful considering the fact that he was new to ebay and had very little feedback.

However, the good news is that paypal was able to hold the money and they are telling me that they should have no problem reversing the transaction.

So, now I want to screw this assh0le so hard so that he can never dream of scamming anyone else again. I need to find out who is he first.

Unfortunately, I have just his ebay user id : petee987 http://myworld.ebay.com/pettee987

He also asked me to send the payment to zacharypettee987@yahoo.com.
His paypal email id is frost_electronics@comcast.net

Any idea on how can I find out who this assh0le is with just this much information?

No. Be glad you didn't lose your money, move on.

No. That is what everyone would do. Someone else may not be so lucky and may get scammed bad. People like these need to be stopped.

you do realise that none of those accounts will lead to the scammer right?

His paypal account is till active.

im going to go out on a limb here and say that its not his paypal account.

He had Craigslist listing under the same email in Cape Cod. Where does his Ebay or Paypal info say he is from?

How did you get scammed? he send you bricks?

yeah more details needed. Hopefully this isn't 'My used laptop has a scratch 1" long along the rear of the case'

if he really scammed you and you have had no contact withhim be glad you got your money back. you can report his id etc to ebay which could delete his account, and you can do the same to paypal and maybe they will freeze his account there. beyond that just move on

right, without the full story I think this is just wanting to attack a seller.

I had a 3 figure purchase from a good seller just recently I have been dealing with the USPS on. It never made it and it was never 'scanned' at any point except being in the USPS's hands.

It's been 4 months but they told me next week I will have an answer.
