We did a cross ship and seller claims he never got my Money Order and it's been 14 days since I shipped my payment.

He demands I cancel it now and issue him a new one, but the whole tracing process can take up to 30 days from date of filing on top of $6.00 tracking fees.

I think it's reasonable to wait another two weeks before doing anything.

Any idea?

or rather, the fecking postman stuck it inside of a junkmail magazine and i just noticed it when i was taking the trash out

wait a week, have it tracked to see if it did go trhough and go from there

See, I strongly believe that it has been lost due to recipient's negligence.

I sent it in a regular envelope with a 37cent stamp on it and no additional tracking services :(

Use delivery confirmation and stop being so cheap. Will avoid headaches in the long run.

Its true, but thats how the majority of the MO's are sent. How much was the MO for? I figure just cancel it, pay the small fee and instead of sending another MO, send him Paypal. As much as its evil, Paypal is what I prefer to use.

a) sign up for paypal.

b) how could you be convinced it was lost due to recipient's negligence? you have no idea what kind of person he is or how he receives his mail. that is pure speculation.
