Sell a house online...?

Anyone know any resources about listing and / or selling a house online ?

Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with it ? Was it a waste of time ?

I already checked out ebay and you can list there, but was hoping for some more options.

Our current real estate agent doesn't have a site or anything or even use the internet for selling homes ?

Thoughts ?

BTW : PM me if you're looking for a colonial home in a great neighborhood in New Haven County, CT.

Does the current agent have it up on the MLS (multiple listing service) in the area? Is there a sign in the yard that says it is for sale or is there an ad in the paper? How did you choose your RE agent (first one off the block, someone you knew, or did you screen them)

As far as listing on the net, ebay is flat out, who knows what you'll get and you have little to no control over the bids. Sure, you could create a website for it, but people have to find out where it is (which rules out long addresses as well as brings us back around to advertising). Though if you have had the current agent for a few months and aren't satisfied, go find a new agent and be up front about what you expect of them.

No. No. She was recommended by a family friend.

Thanks.

ebay, .01 starting price, no reserve. guaranteed to sell.

Was actually looking at the type of auction where it just shows up and you have to contact someone to purchase it. 😉
