Self Service Password Reset for AD?

Maybe a weird request, but has anyone worked with a product like this? I'm looking at this product currently:

http://www.manageengine.com/pr...ce-password/index.html

And I'm not sure if I like it. Seems users have to 'enroll' themselves to use this which kind of defeats the purpose, if they were savvy enough to enroll they wouldn't be forgetting their passwords regularly.

It's a Windows 2000/2003 domain.

Anyhow, maybe a bizarre request -- thoughts? TIA.

If the users don't have to enroll, what security questions do you ask them and how do you know that it's not really me resetting your password?

i used it; it's as good as it gets in the price range.

enrollment is a simple questionaire made availabe when they sign in via a website or gina

Just an update here for anyone who was interested.

The product I linked earlier right now has a beta version that cleaned up the GINA (logon window button) ugliness but it's not out yet so we started looking at others -- their current version is just horrid. The best looking and most intuitive is SSRPM by Tools4ever, has a nice wizard and supports GPO pushdowns for the auto enroll client. also has a web based option. We haven't made a decision but that's the one i'm going to push for 🙂 -- cheapest option seems to be from Netwrix but it has no real reporting nor a decent admin interface.

To be perfectly honest i forgot i posted this thread but thanks for the responses. I made a spreadsheet with some comparisons with screenshots -- if anyone's interested shoot me a PM.
