I cannot fathom the thought of being on a non self propelled ship!

Rowing would suck.

Well unless you were a whipper. Even then it would suck.

Engage starboard bow and stern thrusters. 2.5MW (3350 hp) Gentle push away from dock. Feels like she's hardly moving. That's like 10 corvettes in first gear well into the powerband!
