It's not stolen bud...I don't do that. I'm sure I could get the answer from microsoft, but I'd rather not waste 30 minutes on the phone with them so they could verify a purchase I made in 2002..
You will likely have to activate, but the phone call is usually painless (if necessary). Just explain that you are replacing the original PC that had XP Pro installed with a new one.
ok guess I'll make the call then...I thought it would be a lot of trouble, but if they just check the key and can give me a new code, that would be perfect...thanks
