Keep'em coming LyNx01

How's that Epox Board, Looks like you got a nice overclock on the 1600+

I don't know weather to get the Epox 8k5a2 or the Asus a7v333 for my XP2600.

I like the EPOX board, but i've only been running it since wednesday. I was hoping for a better overclock, I still think it has more in it. I get Blue Screens of Death once i go over 172 fsb, I can last a little longer when I bump up the VCORE. I think it may be my ram settings as I have no idea what to set it at. LOL. Whatever the default settings for the ram are, that's where it's set. It does recognize it as 2700 since i bumped up the fsb.

Anyone suggest some ram settings that aren't gonna mess up my ram? I'd like to shoot for 1800 or 1900 mhz. :D:D:D

Congrats on the assimilations :D

Btw ,I'm not sure about PC2700 but I know PC2100 default voltage is 2.5v ,I run mine at 2.65v ,10mths old & no problems so far:).
Why not download Mother Board Monitor to see what your current volatges are? ,or alternatively it should be shown in the Bios

I have MBM5 but I don't know which voltage is the ram voltage.

I will probably mess with it a bit after work today and try to go a little higher :)

We'll see how well that 20wu/day holds up today!

Maybe MBM doesn't pick up the voltage RAM settings? ,or it may not be picked up by the bios either.
Go to your mbrd makers webiste & see if it tells you there.

I tried bumping my VCORE up to 1.85 and my ram to 2.7v, and I managed to run at 172fsb for 5 hours running seti and playing UT on my lan with my buddies, then it crashed running DLINK USB radio  I was not happy.

Now it wont stay stable at that speed for more than 10 minutes or so. I get tons of different blue screen errors, so i'm leaving it at 166 for now :(
