Question Selective UAC

Apparently I had Win 7 UAC shut off. Never got a warning. Installed Win 10 Pro over Win 7. Now when I use JP Soft’s Take Command I get a warning. But for some reason I never get a warning on MS products. 🙂

Does Win 10 have any kind of selective UAC by program? Like marking an app safe to Win so it shuts up.

No, Windows 10 doesn't provide a simple way to do this for specific applications.

That being said, it isn't impossible to do it either. See this link. You'll need to install the Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit.

While it is not a good idea, you can also turn off UAC in Windows 10 as well by going to Control Panel, User Accounts, and Change User Account Control Settings.
