I moved the jumper on my Asus P4S533 motherboard to give my memory 2.7v (rather than the default of 2.5v). But, I have read in the overclocking forum that 2.7v applied to 512mb memory will eventually overhead it and kill it. So, is there a jumper settings or BIOS setting that will allow my memory voltage to be reduced to 2.6 volts (rather than the 2.5 default)? I found no mention of 2.6v in the manual and could not locate a BIOS setting for memory voltage tweaking.

Thank you in advance.

2.7V is fine. 2.8V is the reccommended max by most manufacturers. Your RAM will run just fine at 2.7V. Default on Asus boards is 2.6V anyway.
