Hi well im not really good when it comes to computer hardware and picking the right one so I need some help on which graphics card to pick. There are so many out there and im not sure which one and if it is compatible with my computer.

I have a dell dimension 3000 with this graphics card:

Name: Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Approx. Total Memory: 96.0 MB

It sucks because I use it to play the sims 2 game and the graphics look horrible. So I want to buy a new graphics card but im not sure which ones are compatible with my computer and will work well.

Can anyone help?

What is your budget? Without AGP or PCI-X you are very very limited. You may be better off piecing together another system. You could build one pretty cheap... I am actually trying to get rid of my desktop computer because I just got a new laptop. It would be good for someone wanting a cheap gaming computer. The graphics card in it is still good for most games. http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814102595 Let me know if you are interested. Otherwise I would suggest building a new cheap computer since you don't have AGP or PCI-X. And if that is out of the question, you could try the HD 2400 Pro, but without looking into it more, I don't know how well it will work for gaming. My guess is probably not very. Best of luck.
