Selecting a good motherboard for amd phenom ii x4 945

Hi friends....I'm gonna get a AMD PHENOM II X4 945 real soon with 2GB OCZ RAM,an ATI 5770 1GB card,16inch AOC monitor....etc etc....
I need help for selecting a good motherboard(AM3) which supports this Procerssor well.....
I can get 2 of these brands easaily....ASUS & GIGABYTE.....Which of this 2 brand will be good.....Thanks

Yah I know 2GB RAM is not enough...but I'm kinda tight on budget right now & I'll get another 2GB later but I'm confused about the mobo...coz if I got an Intel I would have definitely bought Intel mobo...but in case of AMD I'm not sure...
Plz advise.....

No really, the cheapest 2x1 of DDR3 is like 50$, spend the extra 30$ on 4GB. It's worth it to drop to an Athlon X4 for the extra ram.

What's your budget? What will this be used for? What resolution is that monitor?

Well I don't know your budget but the two top of the line motherboards for AM3 right now are

Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5

Between the two I have heard the first revisions of the ASUS board had insufficient or improperly mounted heatsink on the southbridge which could cause overheating. It also costs $50 more.

The Gigabyte fully supports Dolby Home Cinema so that is the one I would choose.
