select next not working on tirerack and related sites

I'm having an issue where if you go to a site like crutchfield or tirerack or similar sites where it asks for your vehicle and you select it, it should then take you to the year, then make, then configuration, etc. I don't get that.

I get the drop down box for type of vehicle, but then after I select that, the other popup selection never appears and I don't get any errors about a popup blocker or anything like that.

I've tried chrome, firefox, and I.E with the same results and its annoying as hell. Any ideas as to what I should look at to solve this issue?

Sounds like javascript is disabled.

If you didn't do it yourself (unlikely, since it's all three browsers), it might have been done by your antivirus program. IIRC, Norton has an "Enable Script Blocking" feature, I suppose others do too...you want to uncheck "Enable Script Blocking", and that will stop blocking javascript.

There's a slight possibility that it may be caused by some malware, although I don't know of any that breaks javascript.

I was thinking along the same lines (javascript being disabled). I'm using I.E. 7. I don't see in the internet options - advanced where to disable/enable it. Is there somewhere else like in security settings of I.E?

It might be SEP that's blocking it.
