so apparently AB /AMBEV has a new product called Select 55. They are furthering the low cal/"full flavor" Select variation to battle the High Life 64 cal beer.

I know the general consensus on AT is that beer should either be brewed in small batches or banned altogether...but I am curious if anyone has actually tried this new formula.

Thoughts?

I laughed because I know exactly what you're talking about.

Haven't tried it yet, but I will. It would be awesome to have a couple of beers and only be down 110 calories.

This is ATOT and if it's a macro it sucks. No way around it. Trust me I've tried. Also I'm not a fan of the low-cal beers. I don't drink beer to worry about how many calories it has.

How much lighter than the water that's named "Budweiser" can AB go. Once you reach the point of zero flavor is there any sense in continuing to weaken it?

Have not tried the MGD 64 but have been a big fan of Michelob Ultra & plain old Miller Lite.

Select 55 sounds tasty!

budwesier select is surprisingly water-like. id say BL has more flavor...not in a good way, but in a "hmmm, could be urine!" way

The problem is it's simply impossible to get rid of the calories from alcohol, so they just put a less alcohol in it. Same as why light beer has less alcohol, these varieties have even less.
