Seinfeld worth $100/ticket to see live?

my wife (then fiancee) bought a couple tickets to go see Jerry in Youngstown Ohio last year. I wouldn't have spent it, but I'm glad she did. It was a great show.

btw, the price (after shipping and what not) came out to be ~$180 for the pair of tickets. Awesome balcony seats too, right in the front right.

i liked seinfeld when it used to air in its original timeslot, I was like 8-11 years old. But now I understand more of it, and they're all morons how can't face life and bitch about everything.

just treat her out to a nice night and a good show.. he might not be worth the $100, but it should still be a good show.. and i'm sure your wife deserves a night out

She loves the show....how do I know his standup is as good? Ah well....I guess just for the chance to "see" him and say you were there. BTW, Good Charlotte in Sacramento is $175 a ticket? LOL. Where can I find ticket prices for Sac area shows? Ticketmaster only shows SF and "surrounding area"........Effers.

I love Seinfeld but I wouldn't pay that much.

If you want to know what his standup is like, rent the movie "Comedian" or one of his HBO specials.

Spoken by someone who's obviously not married.
Wait til you're married. Things like that don't have any effect.

Umm, maybe it's just me, but I find that to be one of the reasons WHY the show was funny.

Damn dude rent the dvd and with the spare cash spend a night at a decent hotel and go out for dinner and a movie and all that jazz.

With a 20 month old daughter and no friends/family within 100 miles, the effort required to work out the logistics of an evening out demands something grandiose.
