In one episode Kramer went to a Fantasy Baseball camp. Upon hearing that Kramer went, George says the following:
"People should plunk down two thousand dollars to live like him for a week: Do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors, and have sex without dating! That's a fantasy camp!"

He also had a small role in a Woody Allen movie.

"These Pretzels are making me thirsty!"

That was George

That was originally Kramer's line in the movie. When shooting the scene, he overdoes it and slams his beer mug so hard on the counter, it breaks and a glass piece hits Woody which causes him to get fired.

Everybody says that line in the episode. George just made it really famous.

He also was a script writer for a bit. I think he had a treatment for Fred Savage to star in. :) Didn't he have a recycling gig with Newman?

He is independently wealthy. In one of the first episode George says something like "that's the life, sleep with random women and fall ass backwards into money"... or something along those lines, although as others have said, he has done several things like the fake job at the "firm", acting, the coffee table book and he used to work at H&H bagels.

Everyone is posting things he either pretended to be, or these "companies" he created.
He got paid nothing for those.
He did, IIRC, once do a stand-in gig with that midget, I had forgotten that in my earlier post.
But even the things he did, none could be considered doing them "for a living", as the OP asked.

Kramerica Industries, he was an underwear model for Calvin Klein, he had a short but successful cock fighting stint, he won a bunch of money on a horse at the OTB one time, he pioneered a Rickshaw service in New York with Newman... yeah, he found ways to make ends meet somehow. :p

He was a doctor. Martin von Nostrand to be exact

The only doctor I remember him to be was the ASSMAN,

No, he also pretended to be a doctor to clear Elaine's medical records

Didnt he also do a cancer screening on George's boss as Mr. Nostrand?

He sold vintage clothing to a store - the raincoat episode

Acted out diseases at a hospital with Mickey the midget

Recieved a settlement from Starbucks for spilling too-hot coffee all over himself

Recieved a settlement from Marlboro for turning his good looks bad

Of course there are more than have already been mentioned

Don't think anybody has brought up the time he was a mall Santa with Micky and spread communist propaganda.

That was one of their funniest episodes, IMO.

"You got me black-listed from Hop Sing's?!" :D

That fell apart when Jerry's car was stolen by his mechanic and Kramer tried to chase him down in the mail truck. They were headed to Michigan to run a bottle deposit scam, but had to turn south to follow him.

I still love watching the reruns whenever I can. Greatest sitcom ever made.

I agree, this show will never get old to me. Thank God for TBS.
