continuing on in my worst day with customer service/tech support.....
in my office i found a seiko smart label printer pro that i bought about a year ago at an auction for $2, the problem was there was no serial cable. i put it in the corner of my office and let it sit there till today. i said WTF, why not call seiko and get a cable....
called their 1-800 number bot through to tech support and he tells me that it is an old label printer (i.e. discontinued) and also tells me the part number, saying that parts would ask me for it. i call back and get parts, the cuy in parts tells me that they don't use part number and since i am ordering a discontinued item he won't have any accessories for it, but he has a serial cable for another printer but he doesn't know if it will work, so i have to call tech support back.
call tech support, same guy tells me that sales doesn't what it is doing since they use the same system with the same prt numbers, and he flat out tells me that OUR SALES DEPARTMENT SUCKS . the sales dept are jackasses, they need help..... he tells me that i should just call back in the morning, leave the night shift all alone......
in a nutshell, SEIKO SUCKS.....
