Segate 400gb 7200.9 VS 320gb 7200.10?

Okay, today in hot deals there is 400 gb 7200.9 drive.
And theres regular-priced ($100) drive 320gb 7200.10

With 400gb being hot and rebate and all, they come in same price!! Should I get .9 with 80 more gb or .10?

Depends on what you mean is hot, they're liquidating the 7200.9 because they maybe introducing a newer 7200.9s..

right now only 40 - 160gb models are updated... they may be working on 200+ models.. with smaller & platter changes, it will make it faster... so take your pick..

320gb 7200.10 is a LOT faster. If you really need the 80gb, grab the 7200.9.

People here are mentioning platter size, but even then the 7200.9 is clearly behind. The biggest difference is firmware between the 2...

Its not new or update stuff, its a new model, like how you buy cars.. 2005 / 2006, etc..

.9 means generation... .10 is current generation, out since may.. so yes you do want the .10 generation..
