Sega ended months of speculation by confirming that it plans to scrap its Dreamcast video game console and focus on making software for systems made by companies such as Sony and Nintendo. more info
 
I've read in various DC mags that Microsoft will incorporate the DC chipset into the Xbox.. maybe they will both go head-to-head with Sony?
