They could have had the videogame industry by the balls, or at least a huge share.

My story:

Ok, I downloaded Ecco from a newsgroup, I was really just curious to see it. I am just about floored at the beauty of this game. I was going to take pics of my TV screen to show you guys but the ebgames site actually does the game justice. Really awesome just look at the screenshots.

First thing I have now done is go to EBGAMES.COM and see if they have it. Yes I will be buying it, I like to have the original since the GDROMS hold more than CDRs and secondly I think just flat pirating it is wrong. I own a gamecube and know for sure either PS2 or XBOX would have saved me a ton of software cost if I had wished to pirate. What I'm trying to say is I generally don't pirate. Ok.... Anyway, with 20% code it's just over 6 bucks. I am probably picking up a couple of other DC games while there.

While I'm here I guess you guys can recommend me please your favorite DC games I'm gonna load up I think. I have Soul Calibur of course :beer::)

Soul Calibur, and any of the Crazy Taxi series, Jet Grind Radio, Metropolis Street Racer, Demolotion Racer, Shenmue, DOA2, Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver are just a few. There are tons more that are now dirt cheap.

Umm... They wouldn't have gotten out of the hardware business if they were turning a decent profit at it.

The DC was one of my favorite all-time consoles. Soul Calibur is still my favorite fighter of all time.

I never fully understood why the dreamcast didn't catch on better. I still love mine. Then again, I still love my Saturn with Dungeons & Dragons and Vampire Savior.

Ecco wasn't even that impressive.
the game was pretty ghey.

I noticed Sega controls were some what laggy. Poor response times.

Nintendo was the king around that time.

I was just gonna bash you for not noticing that someone had mentioned it, then I realized it was mentioned in the other Dreamcast thread. So...go over there and hang out with the cool people I guess. :p

Heh, marvel vs capcom 2 was the whole reason I bought dreamcast... well, that and because its easy as hell to pir.. er.. i mean.. make backup copies of your games.
