SEGA GT? should i get it?

It's not a bad game. I have it for my Dreamcast (if only I could find the freaking CD!!).

It has quite a few Silvias so you should enjoy it! 😀

You should see the Silvias in GT3 though...oh man they are sweet! They look EXACTLY like yours with the same stock 16inch rims and everything. They look like mine too, except I have the S13a with the passive front end while you and GT3 have the S13b with the aggresive front end.

The game uses the same rims that I have though, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside =)

Oh hell yeah i played GT3 with my car. Its actually the 98 S14A....for some reason your model 95-96 is just called S14 while the 97-98 was called S14B...at any rate that game looks so crazy....it like driving my car! But i dont feel paying $300 for a PS2 and then dropping $50 for the game...i dont even play consoles at all too. I just want to spend like $50 on the game and a used DC and i will be a happy man

F355 Challenge or TDLM (Test Drive Lemans) for the DC are much better racing games
than Sega GT... although they don't have any Nissans except for the R390.

Sega GT is a good game. It's a lot different in controls than GT though. Just never brake through the turn and you'll be alright.

Test Drive Le Mans really is a beautiful game. Finally something worthvile came out of the Test Drive family of games....took them long enough.

Gregshin, dunno if you got my PM or not, but I asked if you could get on MSN cause AIM is EVIL.

Actually, it was adopted by the Test Drive family. For some reason, Infogrames thought that
no one would buy their Le Mans in North America if it didn't have "Test Drive" before it. Same
thing with V-Rally.

I would suggest Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2. It's not your conventional Racing game. You Cruise around on the streets/highways of Tokyo (with all Japanese cars in the game - From S2000 to NSX (good Selection)). And there are no Finish/Start finish line, you basically challenge random people on the road by flashing your headlights at them and thats when the action begins. You have 2 power bar meters, and whoever is losing -their meter will go down, until the meter hits zero. You earn money and supe up the cars (engine, tuning, etc) much like Gran Turismo but you have more options based on looks like Decals, Rims, Carbon-Fiber Hoods, Tinted Windows, Spoilers, the works (basically for rice boys).

Rice: The game....
Sounds like fun. I'll have to look for that.

Tokyo Extreme Racer2 is interesting for the first 30 minutes or so but it gets boring after that. Theres not much chance of exploring the area, the highways are pretty similar and not many curves to make it interesting enough.

its cool to customize your car though. You can see how different rims/bodykits will look on your S14.

Thats how I felt about Sega GT. It is very similar to Gran Turismo, your conformed to the track and number of laps you have to go around it. Txr2 gave me street racing, and I enjoyed that much more then Sega GT.
