They will stop making games after May 2002 (or if people stop buying games
altogether, they will stop before then).
Up until then you can look forward to around 100 titles coming out this year.
Daytona 2 is coming out soon and you can waste lots of time right now playing
Phantasy Star Online.
You can hook up your DC to your network using the "broadband adapter"
exclusive at the Sega.com webstore. It's really just an expensive
10Mbps ethernet adapter but you can't get it anywhere else except there (unless you wanna pay over $100 at Eb@y).
Surfing with the DC on broadband is actually a pretty pleasant experience.
I've read some guys are using it to play mp3's from a local server.
I still say the DC is the best gaming system out right now up until around
Christmas this year. The PoS2 great games are non-existent right now (SSX
gets boring after a few days and Madden is same ol' w/ no online play)
and the upcoming ones people are looking forward to keep getting pushed back.
I'm sure they'll be out in droves by the time the Xbox launches.
There are LOTS of great clearanced titles and peripherals at your local Target B&M. Great system to own. When the hobbyist libraries are released by Sega this year, I think this system will last a bit longer. Then you got emulators for the Snes/Genesis/Gameboy/NeoGeo to play with ...
Me, I'm still looking for another pair of Sega maraccas for Samba de Amigo
