if anyone's wondering, amy lee and shaun the lead singer are dating... that's why they did this... and I'm still bitter about Ben Moody leaving Evanescence because of "differences" with Amy... they put out some great songs (even the unreleased ones). I hope the next EV album will stay the same sound...

ben moody's guitar is just loud and boring on fallen. but the older stuff sounds better.

Yeah, just listen to the solo in the demo I just posted... I think he's great. EDIT>> Oops I didn't include it.

Music-wise... with all the bands that sound alike - you have your Creed-like bands, and you have your Simple Plan-like bands who sound punkish... you're right. It was refreshing for Evanescence to come into the limelight. I haven't heard Seether's other stuff, but they're Creed-like in that one... though the song is at least good.
