OOF. Glad I got in under the wire for two Canon S110's if this is true. Cameras aren't here yet but the 800.com gift checks have already arrived, as have e-mails from MSN telling me about my rewards.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Mickeysoft must have seen 800's shipping charges, and thought Hey they are screwing people over, Thats our job.

someone confirm this...I was just about to order a $300 set of speakers. The free shipping and the $60 discount would have made it killer. Crutchfields shipping will be near $50.

According to a MSN Representative: "Sean H.", the stores change daily, so I'm not sure what's up.

I had this argument in another board a week ago. I couldn't see 800.com in their list of participating stores, and I claimed it is not participating, others said it is and said it is there on the list. Then I checked this in another computer and saw 800.com there. There is sth going on there.

What's wrong with 800.com's shipping? I bought the Sony F707 camera for $950 + $8.95 shipping (for some reason I couldn't get this free, but $9 is good enough). Also received an email from MSN saying I've earned $100. Add that to a $100 gift certificate from 800.com and I think it was a pretty good deal for someone without Amex Blue and the camera is from a reputable shop too.

I checked on two different computers and 800.com is NOT listed. But I believed it was earlier.
I did talk to a 800.com CS representative and they did mention something about MSN rebates...

<< Still listed. Try this link...

When you go to the main MSN eShop page (http://eshop.msn.com), you have to use the All eShop stores link, then look under the Electronics & Photo section.

Geez you guys just don't get it. We all know that 800.com is a member of MSN eShops. However, only the Participating MSN eShops in Holiday Reward Promotion will earn a rebate check. If ou have any doubts about a MSN eShop store eligibility, when you click through the MSN eShop portal if the MSN Holiday Rewards popup does not appear then you earn no Holiday Reward rebate.

For the record, I bought a DVD player from 800.com via MSN eShop and got my $100 rebate (confirmed by e-mail from MSN). This was last week. It is quite possible though that they've removed 800.com by now as a participating merchant. I managed to pickup a Sony 300+1 DVD Changer for $200 shipped after all coupon, PMs, and rebates!

<< Funny part....................800.com was pull in order to clear a spot for Ratshack :p >>

WTF? Why and where did you get this information? Any idea if 800.com would be coming back up?

They did the exact same thing last year ... no doubt 800.com was getting the bulk of the orders, again.

800.com may have had as much to do with their being "pulled" as MSN, ie. if 800.com was paying for a portion of the rebates.

AAARRRRGGGHHHH - I JUST ordered $500 of stuff. If they pulled 800.com then I guess I'll have to cancel my order and try to figure out which merchants carry the stuff I want and WON'T get pulled before I can click the submit button.

At least I saw this post before my order shipped. Thanks for the update
